Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula extends 150 miles (240 km) southwest from the Chugach Mountains south of Anchorage. It is separated from the mainland on the west by the Cook Inlet and on the east by Prince William Sound.
Kenai Wildlife Cabins is just a 3-minute drive or 15-minute walk from the world famous Kenai River at Morgan's Landing State Park, where you can fish from the bank. Soldotna (shops, dining, laundry, movies, etc) is just a 15-minute drive away. Day trips to Homer or Seward for saltwater fishing, glacier fjord tours, art/crafts/artifacts shopping and amazing seafood dining are just 1.5 hours away. Whitewater rafting, hiking, mountain biking and canoeing are all within 20 to 45 minutes away.
